What could it be ? Event

A good turn out tonight for this consultation event where visitors made there thoughts known on the space. This info is now being incorporated into some first stage designs ready for further comment. We will post updates here but put your thoughts on the blog too

What was suggested	Why
BBQ increase space around as the bbq a good feature. More seats and flower garden to look at. Fruit trees and a winding path Grass to sit on	Students would use it as is nice sheltered area
A planting and growing area, seats to sit and watch others doing activities	“Don’t want to do activities myself but like watching others doing them like gardening, kids playing”.” Have a social area to sit and blether”
Wildflower garden	Watch nature grow organically
Greater area for bbq, and tables and seating around bbq. Space for growing veg Quieter area to chill Football and basketball Growing herbs	The bbq has been used before and is such a sociable thing to do. Many folk don’t have a space they can bbq in. Basketball (shooting hoops) is good fun and different from just playing football. Students don’t have a common room and good to mix with other people who live here.
